Recently 3-D movies have seemed to have taken over the big screen. Almost every movie that comes out today is in this format. Many people are finding that watching movies in 3-D is making them feel rather uneasy. Some have actually gotten sick from watching the motion and movement from the films. Yet this has not stopped the movie makers from filming things in the format.
There have not been any real studies done to determine if the 3-D movies are bad for the viewer's health in any way. None the less, doctors are warning that young viewers should be very careful about playing video games in this format or watching the movies sitting at a distance.
Researchers are looking into these issues with consumers to see if they can create something that is less uncomfortable. They have been developing more life-like displays. Unfortunately, many say to completely get rid of the problem will take years of development and research.
While the idea of having the excitement that 3-D can bring to viewer, there are many that do not feel it is worth the price of the TV. Yet billions of dollars are being invested in the movie theatres to upgrade to 3-D viewing. Many of the major networks are also spending the movie to offer this format on their regular channels. Where the future goes for 3-D TV's like Samsung UN40C7000 is anyone's guess, but time will tell.
